Everything you need to connect recall and turn what you read into flashcards you actually review.

How to use recall

Connect once, then every chat you have can file flashcards to your library.

  1. 1

Continue with Google - your library, streak, and reviews live at recall.
  2. 2

    Add recall's connector

In claude.ai, open Settings → Connectors and choose “Add custom connector”. Name it recall, paste the URL below, and sign in with Google when Claude asks - you’re linked once, for good.

    /api/mcp

On your phone, use claude.ai or chatgpt.com in the browser - the mobile apps' connectors are still in beta.

  3. 3

    Ask for flashcards

Share a PDF, an article, your notes - or just name a topic. Then ask.

    Try asking

    • Using the attachments I shared, make me flashcards in recall.
    • Turn my Notion notes on system design into a recall deck.
    • Make me a recall deck on the causes of World War I.
    • Create flashcards in recall on the fundamentals of macroeconomics.
  4. 4

    Review daily

recall schedules every card with spaced repetition - come back each day, grade what surfaces, and keep your streak alive on any device.

FAQs

What is recall?

recall turns what you read into flashcards. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client, ask for cards while you read, and review them with spaced repetition so they actually stick.

Is recall a subscription?

No - recall is a one-time payment for lifetime access. Nothing renews, so there's nothing to cancel. See pricing for the current price.

Which AI apps work with recall?

Claude and ChatGPT (in developer mode) today, plus any MCP client that speaks streamable HTTP and OAuth. See how to use for the setup steps.

Does it work on my phone?

Reviewing works anywhere in the browser. To connect the recall connector, use claude.ai in a browser - the Claude mobile app doesn't support connectors yet (they're in beta). Once connected, your cards are there on every device.

How does recall decide what to review?

recall uses FSRS spaced repetition - each card comes back right as you're about to forget it, so you review less and remember more.

Is my library private?

Your library is tied to your account. recall stores the cards you create and your review history so it can schedule them - that's it.

Can I get a refund?

Yes - email support@recallapp.online and we'll sort it out.
